Switchgear No.7 - Ground Floor

Manufactured by Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co some time around 1955, the heavy cast iron circuit breakers remain in their original positions. They enabled the No 7 generator unit to connect to the system grid, supplying electricity directly to Royal Perth Hospital via a steam pipe line, as well as powering station auxiliaries.
